Content Marketing Coordinator Summary:

The Content Coordinator position is responsible for the coordination and creation of content for print and electronic/digital communications with an emphasis on case studies, white papers, email content for nurture programs, press releases and social media.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and prepare content for Spectrum "Case Studies" and "White Papers" featuring successful customer installations and product launches.
  • Facilitate publishing of the content
  • Write and edit copy for Spectrum marketing collateral (i.e. - catalogs, market sheets, promotional programs, market specific programs, specifications & assembly instructions)
  • Research, write, edit, update, and maintain content for Spectrum Industries Blog.
  • Research, write, edit, update and maintain posts for Spectrum social media.
  • Collaborate with company departments and employees to create, edit, format, and finalize content for any communication/newsletters going to resellers/Partners/direct.
  • Collaborate with company departments and employees to create, edit, format, and finalize content for any Departmental Newsletters or inter-departmental correspondence.
  • Research, write and edit communication to customers, both print and electronic (letters, email blasts, postcards, etc).
  • Research and introduce possible methods for contacting current and prospective customers, in all markets, develop necessary programs and materials, and execute the promotions.
  • Research and write press releases on new product, promotion, or special events/activities. Distribute to all necessary channels.
  • Attend weekly Marketing Meetings and share individual status updates and project recommendations.
  • Other marketing department opportunities or projects as time allows

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Represent and preserve the best interest and integrity of the company whenever and wherever possible

Experience and Skills:

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Journalism, English, communications or related field
  • Two or more years of related work experience preferred
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
  • Ability to use a computer, scanner, printer, camera and a variety of additional office equipment
  • Ability to write detailed copy, descriptions and specifications
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables where only limited standardization exists
  • Detail oriented, Accountable and dependable
  • Creative, flexible, versatile, and Problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to convey understanding with internal and external customers
  • Ability to accurately interpret the needs of customers and identify/resolve the source of customer related issues
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, company correspondence, trade publications, and journals
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence, as well as present information and respond to questions
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instruction in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to collaborate with varying departments in a professional, productive, and goal-oriented manner

This position pays a bi-weekly hourly wage starting at $17.27 per hour.
